Towels Made of Raw Linen

Designed in 2002, raw linen is used to create the fog linen waffle towels. To create this product, an example of a waffle towel is brought in cotton to sewers. Through various experiments, they were able to successfully create the waffle texture designer desired in linen. With neatly squared corners and basic, functional shapes, there's an honest simplicity to designer's work, which is also reflected in how the fog linen collection began. Fog linen towel collection at Design Within Reach is designed by Japanese designer Yumiko Sekine by using raw linen from Lithuania.
